Directions From I-26 (Downtown / Mt. Pleasant / West Ashley):

  • Take I-26 W toward Columbia.
  • Take Exit 203 for College Park Road toward Moncks Corner/Goose Creek.
  • Merge onto College Park Road and follow it until it intersects with US-17 ALT N / N Main St.
  • Turn right onto US-17 ALT N / N Main St heading toward Carnes Crossroads.
  • Landmark Cue: Watch for the Dunkin’ on your right. Turn right at that light onto 2nd Avenue.
  • Take an immediate right onto McBride Lane.
  • 207 McBride Lane will be on your left, directly behind Steel City Pizza.

From Summerville / Highway 61:

  • Travel northeast on US-17 ALT N / S Main St toward Carnes Crossroads/Moncks Corner.
  • Continue straight under the I-26 overpass.
  • Landmark Cue: Look for the Dunkin’ at the upcoming intersection. Turn right at the light onto 2nd Avenue.
  • Turn right onto McBride Lane.
  • Lowcountry Endoscopy Center is on your left, positioned directly behind Steel City Pizza.

From Moncks Corner:

  • Travel south on US-17 ALT S toward Summerville.
  • Pass through the main Carnes Crossroads intersection (where US-17A meets US-176).
  • Landmark Cue: Look for the Dunkin’ on your left-hand side. Turn left at that traffic light onto 2nd Avenue.
  • Make an immediate right turn onto McBride Lane.
  • 207 McBride Lane will be on your left-hand side (right behind Steel City Pizza).

From Cane Bay:

  • Head southeast on Cane Bay Blvd toward the main community entrance.
  • Turn right onto US-176 E (State Rd S-8-16) heading toward Summerville / Carnes Crossroads.
  • Continue straight for approximately 4 miles until you reach the major Carnes Crossroads intersection (where US-176 meets US-17 ALT).
  • Landmark Cue: You will see a Spinx gas station on the corner. Turn right at this light onto US-17 ALT S (N Main St).
  • Landmark Cue: Very shortly after making that turn, look for the Dunkin’ on your left-hand side. Turn left at that traffic light onto 2nd Avenue.
  • Make an immediate right turn onto McBride Lane.

Arrival Time


Please arrive one hour before your scheduled procedure time. The time provided to you is the procedure start time.

Arriving a little early helps everything run smoothly and allows our nursing team time to:

  • Greet you and get you checked in
  • Review your medical history and paperwork
  • Answer questions and start your IV comfortably before your procedure

Bowel Prep Questions


If things feel slow after starting your prep, there is no need to worry. Continue drinking clear liquids and stay lightly active by walking around when possible.

If it is late at night, finish your prep exactly as instructed by your provider. If it is the morning of your procedure and your stool is not clear or yellow

Driving Requirements


After an endoscopy or colonoscopy, you will need a responsible adult to take you home. Sedation is used for comfort, so plan to rest for the remainder of the day and resume normal activities the following day as directed.


Yes. For your safety, a responsible adult age 18 or older must stay in the building from check in through discharge while you receive sedation.

Most visits last about 2 to 2.5 hours total, and our team will keep you and your driver informed along the way.

Ride share services such as Uber, Lyft, or taxis are not allowed unless another adult companion is riding with you.
