We strive to make it more convenient to get you the timely care you
need. While we don’t require patients to be referred by another
physician, we encourage you to have a primary care physician or
internist manage your general medical care.
If referred by your primary care physician, they will receive a formal
report including your diagnosis, test results and recommendations for
treatment and follow-up.
Open Access Colonoscopy
Program
Charleston GI’s Open Access Colonoscopy Program allows patients
without gastrointestinal symptoms or other health risk factors to
more conveniently schedule a colonoscopy without a referral and/or
office visit.
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to our team and other patients, please provide a
cancellation notice at least 24 hours before your scheduled office
visit or at least 48 hours before your scheduled procedure at one of
our endoscopy centers.
